About Main Autobody

Main Autobody is an auto body shop in Stockton, California. It is listed at 1861 E Main St, Stockton, CA 95205, which places it among the local businesses of Stockton that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Body shops repair collision damage, dents, rust and paint, and most work directly with insurance companies: you can choose any shop, not only the insurer's preferred one, and the shop will write a supplement if hidden damage turns up. Paintless dent repair fixes hail and door dings without repainting. Detailing shops clean and protect interiors and paint, from a basic wash-and-wax to ceramic coatings and paint protection film. Car washes range from self-service bays to express tunnels with monthly memberships. Upholstery shops repair seats, headliners and convertible tops, and restoration shops bring classic and collector cars back to original or custom condition.

Stockton is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Stockton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Review for Main Auto Body Shop (Miguel Hernandez) I entrusted my Lexus GX 460 to Miguel Hernandez at Main Auto Body Shop after a minor accident on November 24, 2024. Trusting him as a friend, I expected professional and timely repairs. Unfortunately, the repair process extended over a full year, with continuous delays and excuses about missing parts. During this time, my vehicle not only remained unrepaired but also suffered further damage. Aftermarket headlights and fog lights were installed, the remote start was ruined, headlight washers stopped working, and paint mismatches occurred. The bumper grill was not secured properly and hung loose, there were new scratches on the vehicle, and essential components like rubber trim were missing. Additionally, the key fob, which I provided in brand-new condition, was returned with horrible scratches as if it had been damaged intentionally. I also encountered warning lights indicating headlight issues, a flat tire that wasn’t there before, and malfunctioning driving modes like sport and eco. This experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I can’t believe It this person I’ve known for 16 years did this to me.i strongly adv

My 2012 Honda Civic might not be the best car, but I drive it to work and I don't want it to look like trash. Miguel did a beautiful job popping out the dent in my door and feathering in the paint. He even touched up some small dents and scrapes. My car hasn't looked this great in years. Thanks Main Autobody!
